Description
ABV 7.5%
Style: Pale Ale
Bottle: 500ml
The monks of Burton Abbey were the first recorded brewers in the town.
This strong abbey style ale is our closest guess at what those beers were like. A powerful ale with a single hop variety.
The name comes from Shakespeare’s likeable drunkard Falstaff “Peace, good pint-pot. Peace, good tickle-brain”. in Henry IV part 1.
Hops used are Northdown.
